The Problem in the United States – Human Trafficking
Human Trafficking in USA – The average age of a child first used in prostitution is 11 to 14, with some as young as 9 years of age. 300,00 to 4,00,000 children are trafficked each year, 2 children are trafficked every minute. Seven years is the average life of a commercial sex slave, once trafficked. 83% of people trafficked are U.S. citizans. (FBI and endslaverytn.org)
The Problem in Israel
“In the past decade, approximately 25,000 women, nearly all from the Former Soviet Union, were smuggled into Israel… to be brutalized as sex slaves. Once in Israel, victims are repeatedly sold and resold to pimps and brothel owners. They are forced to work in slave-like conditions, ruthlessly abused and exploited, suffering severe beatings, rape and often starvation. Though Israel has made progress in the fight against human trafficking, there is still a great deal that needs to be done” (atzum.org).
Shimon Peres has stated, “The fact that this loathsome disease exists in a Jewish state is a disgraceful stain on the most basic commandments of our legacy… There is no people that sees liberation – the transition from slavery to freedom – as such a pivotal moment in its history as we do.”
Every seven years the slaves were set free in the Bible. It is called a Shmitah Year. Year 5775 is a Shmitah Year. It is time to help the Jews and Gentile children, teens, and adults caught in sex slavery gain their freedom.

The Biblical Mandate
Is this not the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke? Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, and that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; when you see the naked, that you cover him, and hide yourself from your own flesh. Then your light shall break forth like the morning. Your healing shall spring forth speedily, and your righteousness shall go before you. The glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard. Then you shall call, and the LORD will answer; you shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’ If you take a way the yoke from your midst, the pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness; if you extend your soul to the hungry and satisfy the afflicted soul, then your light shall dawn in the darkness, and your darkness shall be as the noonday. The LORD will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail. Those from among you shall build the old waste places.
You shall raise up the foundations of many generations, and shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In”
